International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) Local 19 will be accepting applications for the Seattle WA recruitment. Beginning September 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM PST. The recruitment will be open for the first 500 applicants OR until September 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM PST. Applications must be completed and submitted no later than 5:00 PM PST on September 19, 2026. Applications are accepted online only. A high school diploma, GED or equivalent must be uploaded for the application to be successfully submitted. There is a mandatory, non-refundable, $25.00 application fee. If you have ever accepted a job as an apprentice in the IUEC, you may NOT apply to this recruitment. Please note: Aptitude testing will be conducted, tentatively, the week of October 5, 2026. All testing and interviews will be conducted in person. Please plan accordingly.
